Archiproducts Milano is open!

The first co-net-working space officially inaugurated during Milano Design Week

Milano Design Week has ended and it has truly proven to be a success in participation, enthusiasm, and new experiences. For everyone, for the Salone del Mobile, for the Fuorisalone, and for all of the international visitors. It was also a great success for us, with our new co-net-working space ‘Archiproducts Milano‘.

The new project, which anticipates a great change in the distribution and sales dynamics of the Design world, has enthused everyone. At a time in which the spread of e-commerce is modifying the role of resellers and is resetting the rules for the presence of brands in the territory, the need for exhibition spaces and co-working spaces has emerged, not merely dedicated to sales, but focused on the discovery of products, in a place where exchanging information, direct contact and contamination are key.

Archiproducts Milano has come about in response to this very need, and it is the first of the international Hubs in the making. An extraordinary adventure born from a meeting with 25 partners who bet on Archiproducts and who, by working in close contact to set up the large house in via Tortona 31, have contributed to creating a magical, energetic space which throughout Milan Design Week breathed life into new and significant collaborations and friendships. DesaltoSaba ItaliaVibiaTonNORR11EthimoSimesAlpes Inox, Vitrum, Hey SignDieffebiKriska DécorStellar Works, Buxkin, RoofingreenRoyal BotaniaVeluxKiasmo, iittala, KristaliaKonstantin SlawinskiMaraLiuni,Wood-Skin and Brompton Junction Milano.

A true alchemy which included even the visitors in this journey of discovery of new spaces and products: 12,000 accredited professionals among architects, resellers, manufacturers, along with the international press, all curious to discover the potential of this new project and the many scheduled activities. We had the pleasure of hosting a number of designers, among which Toan Nguyen, Luca Nichetto, Emilio Nanni, Marc Sadler, Sergio Bicego, Paolo Grasselli, Rune Krøjgaard, the artist Uros Mihic and Diego Grandi, author of the graphic pattern made with aluminum chains which adorned the facade; along with friends and colleagues from the editorial staff of Elle Decor Italia – partner of Archiproducts Milano – and Domus, as well as the team from Federlegno, whom we joined as tech partner for the digital Salone del Mobile and MadeExpo catalog.

Over 500 guests were invited to the gourmet aperitifs curated by chef Felice Sgarra, the youngest Michelin Star in Italy, delighted by the showcooking featuring orecchiete, wine, and olive oil, all made in Apulia. Archiproducts Milano is just one part of the huge marketing and communication operation which we spearheaded at the Salone and Fuorisalone with the Archiproducts Design Selection, which involved over 500 events and brands; our yellow bags coloured Milan completely yellow; the editorial activities curated by our editors, bustling around for video interviews with designers, photo reporting of stand set-ups and designer portraits.

But Archiproducts Milano doesn’t end here, rather, this is just the beginning: a dense calendar of meetings, presentations and products, workshops, and networking sessions is already in store. Right after a brief break, necessary for making the space functional for upcoming activities, starting from May 10th, the first courses on designing with natural light (Rethink the day Light – Velux) will begin, with 20 architectural studios from all over Italy. Following that, Web Marketing sessions for architecture and design, architectural and interior photography workshops, and so much more you can discover at  milano.archiproducts.com. Stay tuned!
