The partnership which brings exhibitors to the web
A new and important step in the Edilportale and Federlegno Arredo partnership. Inaugurated last March to bolster the Salone del Mobile’s digital strategy, the alliance between a ‘real’ and ‘virtual’ fair is now being extended to Made Expo, the international expo by Federlegno Arredo dedicated to architecture and construction.
Just two months after the signing of the agreement for the creation of the Salone del Mobile’s new digital catalog in collaboration with Archiproducts, a brand of Edilportale Spa, the second agreement has been concluded.
The Made Expo digital catalog will be ready for the 2017 edition, on show at Fiera Milano Rho from 8-11 March. It will be powered by Edilportale, which will make its large, esteemed product archive available, the precious resouce which Italian designers have used for over 15 years to choose products and gather information.
The new service will allow exhibitors to publish products within the online catalog of the fair, and to thus generate qualified web traffic from figures in the sector. For brands which are already members of Archiproducts, product publication will be completed faster and for a lesser cost.
The decision to invest in the digital sector goes hand in hand with the themes of growth and internationalization which Made expo has made a priority. This year, numerous activities which follow this trend have been scheduled, with a focus on international markets, an ample incoming schedule with the reception of selected delegations for B2B meetings reserved for exhibitors, and the promotion of the fair in countries with the highest growth potential. Created in collaboration with Edilportale, which shares the basis of its product data through the multilingual platform of Archiproducts, the new Made expo digital catalog provides an important contribution to the internationalization of Italian construction.
«The partnership between edilportale and Made Expo – comments Ferdinando Napoli, co-founder of Edilportale – allows the sectors of construction and architecture to accelerate the process of the digitalization of product research. And this process is at the basis of construction 2.0, the one connected to the web and technology like BIM, which allow companies and designers to design their competitiveness for the near future.»
«The main mission of MADE expo is to give visibility to the products and new developments of exhibiting brands and to generate useful commercial contacts for them in Italy and abroad, explains Roberto Snaidero, president of MADE Eventi. It is thus a natural succession that MADE expo wants to offer its exhibitors a digital tool of great quality, 365 days a year and which breathes an international air, leveraging its own constant relationship with fair visitors and the website which which those visitors dialogue on a daily basis.»
Edilportale is the most consulted research engine for construction by italian professionals and brands. It is part, along with Archiproducts, Archiportale, and Archilovers, of the Archipassport.com Network, a precious source of inspiration for 1.7 million registered architects and designers and 46 million readers each year The largest international online resource for Architecture and Design: 11 languages, 150,000 catalogues, 3,500 brand members.
An acronym for Milan, Architecture, Design, and Construction (In Italian, ‘Edilizia’), Made Expo is the biennial fair specialized and creation as a construction area for ideas and integrated business. The expo returns to Fiera Milano Rho from 8-11 March 2017, ready to welcome visitors and operators from all parts of the world. It is worth noting that ten months after opening its gates, Made Expo boasts 350 registered brands and 40% of the exhibition space has already been booked. The goal is to offer an integrated, multi-specialized vision on materials, construction systems, windows, building shells, finishes, and surfaces. The exhibition strategy of Made expo forsees, as always, four vertical ‘saloni’ or rooms, constructed by homogeneous product sectors which correspond to specific moments in the design and construction process of a building: MADE construction and materials, MADE building shell and windows, MADE interiors and finishes, MADE software, technology, and services.
