From November 10 to 17, the new exhibition “Autentico. Design made in Puglia” will tell the story of Apulian excellence in Design and Architecture, at 82 Gansevoort, Meatpacking District, New York.
“Autentico. Design made in Puglia” aims at enhancing the creativity and talent of 11 Apulian companies by showcasing products, images, and imagery that present the forms, ideas, and materials of Design made in Puglia through one of the most recognized values of the region: authenticity. It is an authentic and sustainable Design because it is linked to the land it expresses.
The project and concept for the showcase were created and developed by Archiproducts as the global source for Architecture and Design and Main Partner, together with the Italian Trade Agency and Natuzzi.
“For years, we have been making companies interact with international markets and the worldwide network of professionals and designers. We give them spaces and services to tell their stories through their products, making the most of the great potential of the digital world. Everything starts with that authenticity concept. It makes sure that each brand can express itself and has allowed Archiproducts to grow in Puglia and become a global source for Architecture and Design. This is why we stand alongside Apulian companies engaged in their internationalization process: it was also our story before we became what we are today” says Vincenzo Maiorano, Co-founder and Creative Director at Archiproducts.
The immersive experience is organized by the Section for Trade, Handicraft, and Internationalization Business Promotion of Regione Puglia, with the support of Puglia Sviluppo S.p.A.
“Design made in Puglia encapsulates manufacturing excellence and talents from Puglia, bringing together an authentic combination of innovation, history, and traditions – elements that make our region stand out on the global stage. Through this inspiring showcase in New York, we intend to shine a spotlight on the calibre of Puglia’s brands and designers. It is an opportunity for us to promote a regional industry that has historically been a driving force in bringing “Made in Puglia” furniture and design to foreign markets. A local industry that has experienced incredible growth over the last decade, in Italy and beyond, establishing itself as a cornerstone of Puglia’s economy” states Alessandro Delli Noci, the Regional Minister for Economics Development of Regione Puglia.
