Archiproducts Design Awards 2025 winners revealed

The international design community gathered at Superstudio, in the heart of Via Tortona, Milano, to celebrate the winners of the Archiproducts Design Awards 2025.

The evening marked a double anniversary — ten years of the Archiproducts Design Awards and twenty-five years of Archiproducts itself. What began as a tribute became a collective story of vision, creativity, and excellence, blending ceremony and conviviality in equal measure. The event brought together leading voices in design and architecture, turning the celebration into an open conversation about the future of the discipline.

Opening the evening, the Co-founder and Creative Director of Archiproducts Enzo Maiorano retraces the journey behind this dual milestone: twenty-five years of a digital platform that accompanies the evolution of the design industry, and a decade of an award devoted to promoting design excellence across an ever-expanding international landscape.

“This journey has been possible thanks to your trust and support for our platform, our team, and these Awards, year after year! You’re the ones who gave us the energy to keep growing, improving, and investing to make Archiproducts a living ecosystem that connects today 3,000 brands with 5 million professionals,” Maiorano remarks.

Ferdinando Napoli, CEO and Co-founder of Archiproducts, steps in with a forward-looking vision, underlining how international growth and future initiatives are redefining the platform’s role as a global design hub.

“Following our global expansion plan, this year — for the first time — the Archiproducts Awards are also happening in China,  as part of our plan to connect East and West,” announces Napoli. Among the new initiatives, Archiproducts Middle East“It will start in Riyadh, where we’re opening a new space for architects — right in the city’s business district.” Also announced is a new partnership with Material Bank, the global leader in material sourcing: “Together, we’ll empower Brands to connect even more closely with Architects, sending samples and materials worldwide.”

The Jury’s perspective

Representing this year’s jury, Claudia Afshar, the British designer of Iranian origin based in Los Angeles, shares her reflections:
“The products we reviewed revealed an incredible range of talent and perspective, each one offering a unique response to how design can shape the way we live today and in the future. Across such diversity, what stood out was a shared commitment to excellence, to creating work that is both contemporary and enduring.” She concludes by addressing the awardees: “Your work reminds us that design at its highest level is not only about objects, but about how creativity, intention, and discipline together define culture.”

Designheroes and the Design Culture

The evening continues with a focus on Designheroes and the introduction of the new Design Culture Award.
Marilde Longo, Co-founder and CSO of Archiproducts, invites the ADA juror Nils Becker onto the stage. A digital entrepreneur and Co-founder of Stylepark and Architonic, Becker now joins the Archiproducts Board of Advisors. Together with his wife Susanne Fritz, Nils Becker founded Designheroes, an international platform devoted to celebrating and advancing Design Culture. Through its partnership with Archiproducts, it has grown into one of the most vibrant and far-reaching digital ecosystems in the design world. This year, Becker introduces the Design Culture Award — a new distinction that opens an exciting new chapter in the story of the ADAs.
“Great design only becomes a legacy when there is a strong culture behind it. A culture that studies it, preserves it, critiques it, and tells its story,” said Becker. “And so, this year, together with Designheroes, Archiproducts is proud to introduce something new: The Design Culture Award. This award is dedicated to the ambassadors who don’t just love design—they help the world understand it. They are the curators, the educators, the storytellers who build the stage so that design can take its rightful place in history.”

The first Design Culture Award goes to Marco Sammicheli, Curator for Design, Fashion, and Crafts at Triennale Milano and Director of the Museo del Design Italiano—a figure who has long worked to connect institutions, companies, and the public through design.

“His lectures and publications all share one vital mission: to connect the designers of tomorrow with the great masters of the past. He has transformed an esteemed institution into a living, open cultural platform, elevating design to the level of a powerful, shared global language,” concluded Becker, inviting Sammicheli on stage.

“Enhancing historical Italian design, telling the stories of today’s generations, collaborating with companies, and building networks with museums is an exciting job that I carry out with a sense of responsibility and joy. This award is a recognition I accept with humility, and it brings prestige to Triennale Milano and to the Italian design system, which has Milan as its capital,” Marco Sammicheli.

Ten years of Excellence: a tribute to the Brands

To mark the tenth anniversary of the award, five brands takes the stage—those that over the past decade have stood out for their steady vision, creativity, and spirit of innovation, and that hold the record for the highest number of winning products.

That’s why, in this historical moment we’re living — where technology plays an increasingly dominant role in our lives — I believe it’s crucial to return to a more humanistic approach to design. And that’s exactly what I strive to do. I wish to deeply thank Archiproducts and the jury for this recognition, my studio — which every day turns ideas into reality — and all the companies that support my work and bring my vision to life.”
